New Investment to Accelerate Our International Expansion
We are thrilled to announce today that we’ve secured $35m funding led by top cloud investor Bessemer Venture Partners (BVP) and joined by existing shareholders Highland Capital Partners Europe, Eden Ventures and Notion Capital. This Series C round of funding brings NewVoiceMedia’s total investment to over $50m!
We’re very pleased to have BVP on board and welcome Alex Ferrara as a Director. BVP are a global venture capital firm that invest in early-stage, hyper-growth start-ups, and believe cloud computing is the most significant trend in the software industry of the decade. Just as importantly, they share our commitment to our mission as we continue to innovate ahead of the competition and outpace the market.
It really is an exciting time to be involved in the contact centre industry as it transitions rapidly to the cloud. We’re proud that our suite of true cloud, multi-tenant contact centre solutions has been built entirely in-house and is driving an evolution in customer services. This investment closely follows the opening of our new regional headquarters in APAC and North America, and will help us to further increase international adoption of our disruptive technology.
More specifically, it will help the company continue to invest significantly in research and development, accelerate our expansion throughout the US, with new offices to follow in New York, and expand our sales, marketing and professional services capability in the region.
