Another Successful ShipIt Day

Last week we had another successful two days of ShipIt.

As usual, we started with a few preliminary meetings to go over the guidance, start planning some ideas and form the teams.

On the first day (Wednesday), we had a fairly quiet kick-off as the team got stuck in to shipping stuff. The teams mixed up as usual, which was a good chance for people to work with others they hadn't worked with before. We've welcomed a number of new starters to our dev team over the last few months, so they got to experience their first ShipIt days.

Throughout the two days, we saw the teams working collaboratively on a number of cool product ideas.

As part of the ShipIt days' demo, the teams created videos of what they had done. We've started using videos for our sprint demos, so we also carried this through to the ShipIt demo.

For the demo session we had a really good turn-out from the wider business which was great!

As with previous ShipIt days, the output will go through to the main roadmap where suitable, for further tweaking and testing to be sure it's all ready for our customers.
